Brought here by a search? Sorry but the only two possible solutions in the thread (worked for 2 people) are on page 9.

I'm trying to create a E5 Subscription but when I get to phone verification step, I get an error while trying to send the code to my phone number:

We can't continue with the signup process for the following reason:

  • Your phone number did not pass security checks.

I've been using this phone number for over 10 years.

Microsoft 365 and Office | Subscription, account, billing | For education | Other

    again you use arab local phone number that needs international call charges, there is no whatsapp or any other application we can use to contact you while we are in Somalia,

    I have same problem Microsoft does not recognize all Somali numbers, i used this number more 15 years and they said does not pass security check, i also try to use my family numbers non of them worked in Microsoft, please quickly solve that problem.

    I received this during E5 subscription
