How to disable OneDrive "On this day" "Memories" whatever MS calls it now

I can't find any options in the settings for OneDrive to get it to stop sending me reminders of the past "On this day" or "Memories". Is it even possible to turn this feature off?

Update: I found in the actual OneDrive website an option under settings called "On this day memories are available" that is already disabled. What I'm experiencing now is not emails, but popups in the bottom right corner of my screen, so no emails but now these popup notifications that seem to be coming from the operating system.

    This setting screen does not exist for me. My OneDrive account is for work but my phone is personal. There is no "personal" page in my OneDrive app settings, I cannot turn off these on this day notifications and it's driving me mad. I am going to have to remove notifications completely.

    i had this today. I went to the Me icon at the bottom... then settings, then Personal. Under the second section GET NOTIFICATIONS WHEN

    The first item 'I have memories from this day' - I disabled it.

    Hi @mistercrowley, where is the 'me' icon you are referring to? In OneDrive app or Windows Settings or elsewhere? I'm on a Windows 10 Desktop PC with OneDrive installed and can't seem to find what you are referring to?

    OneDrive is not a backup, it’s a cloud location of your data.

    The default installation of Office 365 and its OneDrive component uploads all the contents of the PC  \My Documents\ folders to OneDrive, (syncs) and there will be a OneDrive folder in File Explorer containing all the OneDrive content. And in Word etc the default Save location is set to OneDrive.
