Hi,
I have recently upgraded my windows system from windows 10 to windows 11.
Though most of the function are working properly, however PowerPoint has been has been having issue.
Whenever the laptop is put/goes on sleep mode with programs like PowerPoint still running and file being open, then when the laptop is switched back on, the PowerPoint automatically closes or shuts down when laptop goes into sleep.
It is taking lot of time to redo the ppts again as text and other changes are lost if unsaved.
Kindly help resolve this issue.

Even i am having the same issue with PowerPoint ever since upgraded my laptop to windows 11.
didn't have this issue in windows 10
It is pretty annoying to redo the whole ppt again :(
Hope Microsoft fixes this problem soon
No peripherals in use.
I would be curious about how many of us with these issues might be using some sort of docking station to run externals from our laptops or PCs. And whether this issue is correlated with conflicts that come with using those connections. Does the issue persist even with no peripherals attached?
I too have the same issue. When working in power point, if I take a call or walk away and the computer goes to sleep, it shuts power point down without saving. Highly frustrating with all the rework.
