Office Lens won't upload to Onedrive and stays in Transfering modus

After making a picture in Office Lens, and saving is to Onedrive, more and more files keep transferring, trying to upload. This is not happening all times, but I think it has to do with the internet connection at the moment of saving. Normally, the transferring time is aborted by a time-out, and you can retry to upload the (pdf) file. Most times it works, but now is stays in transfering mode and I cannot access the picture anymore. Please support me.

Sadly, I've given up on Lens since they (Microsoft) can't seem to figure it out.  I'm trying a couple of 3rd party apps to see if they function well (including in the change-network-upload-dies scenarios we've all been encountering).

For now, I'm resisting the urge to dump OneNote and move to Evernote because every. freaking. note. I have is in OneNote.  Has anyone else found a solution that cuts the MS Clown Crew out of the equation?

Really, still under investigation, since November?  What about the new issue I presented with a picture just recently?

    • Can you tell us if you have tried saving a different file to OneDrive? Is it having the same issue?
    • A: Many files do work. Only a few are stuck in transfer mode. The only option offered when I click it is to delete it. I don’t want to delete the PDF I made, I no longer have access to the papers.
    • Have you tried saving the Office Lens file to a different location like OneNote, Word, or in the Gallery of your device?
    • A: I can no longer get to the file as it is stuck in transfer mode. Surprising there is no way to cancel the transfer without deleting the file(!).
    • Did you notice if this concern is happening to other apps as well?
    • A: No, only Office Lens.

I also have the exact same issue. It is not possible to press the "Retry" button or do anything else but delete the Pictures (which I am not willing to do, as I need them for documentation purposes (of course - otherwise I wouldn't have taken any pictures).

I am using an iPhone X with latest iOS and OfficeLens versions.

Looking forward to quick help on this issue!
