power point presenter view scrolling from touch screen

What troubleshooting steps have you done so far? I want to clarify if you have performed the troubleshooting steps suggested above? If you have updated the Office suite, you can repair, uninstall and reinstall the Office apps.

I am seeing the identical issue with PowerPoint on my SP4, though I should add that touch scrolling does not even work when the TypeCover is attached. The scroll bar merely shows up, allowing you to tap it for scrolling purposes.I can scroll the notes screen using my Surface Pen, which makes the touch screen not a total loss.

I am running PowerPoint Version 1907 (Build 11901.20176) on a Surface Pro 4 with Windows 10 - 1903 that has all cumulative updates loaded as of 2019-08-14 (KB4512508). I have also replicated the issue on my wife's Surface Pro 3, which is running the same build of PowerPoint, though it is running Windows 10 - 1803. Thus this seems to be an issue with PowerPoint Build 11901.20176. The issue did not exist before PowerPoint updated itself this month.

Thank you for providing the outcome. Can you try another replicating your concern with a different laptop or PC with the same removable keyboard just to prove if the same issue happens? The reason for this is because we want to know if your concern will happen on the same environment. If the result is different, compatibility could be the reason for this issue. You can get in touch with the device manufacturer if that would be the case.

My presenter notes scroll fine when my keyboard is attached. When i detach my keyboard and use only the touch screen to scroll the scroll bar disappears and stops functioning. 

Also i use dropbox and I’m able to open powerpoint files on my galaxy tablet. When i use the scroll function on my tablet, i have no issues at all.

I want to clarify before you uninstalled and reinstalled Office 365, were you able to scroll in Presenters view with the keyboard attached to the device? Before this issue was the feature working before? Let isolate the issue further, please upload your PowerPoint files in OneDrive and open it using a different device so that you can try to check if it will work from that device because we might be looking at a compatibility issue.
