OneDrive search not working

The search function in the top left doesn't return any results. It used to return results if the given search term appeared in either a file name or the body of a file.

    Hi, It's been 2.5 years since this post. I'm just wondering if this error has got solved as I might still be experiencing the same error.

    Any update will be much appreciated.

    It can be solved. So it was in my case. But you have to write again and again to Microsoft. I did that out of the iOS app. And then they start to communicate. And suddenly one day the search worked again in OneDrive on my iPhone. Works now for about 2 years, no problems again.

    This topic should be closed already. The issue is not going to be resolved anytime soon. Consider search a non-feature.

    This community is clearly not listened to or has any sway over Microsoft. One Drive is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

    You're 100% correct Tim especially your statement "...if they had the motivation".

    I've just come to the realisation they don't have the motivation to fix this and am now trialling Dropbox as an alternative. If its OK I'm getting rid of Microsoft Onedrive and 365. No longer going to pay my hard earned money for a product that doesn't do what it purports to do and has no after sales service to support its customers.

    waste of time… you get the same old response that they have used for five years….

    no point anymore Micro$oft are only interested in taking your money.. they don’t fix the problems i’m with the software…

    If you want a working program DropBox is the one and they actually respond to emails 👍
