Outlook on android - receiving notifications, but emails don't show in inbox.

I use outlook for android (Motorola Moto G running Android 5.1) and it worked great until a couple of days ago. Now I get notifications of new emails, but the messages don't show up in my inbox. If I click a notification to try and read the email, it says 'Couldn't open message', and takes me back to my inbox, which shows only old messages.

Please help!

Likewise. The email eventually shows up in my inbox, but delay can be as long as 15 minutes after notification. I am not going to delete the app and reinstall every time

Having the same problem - when i uninstalled Outlook I couldn't re-install it at first and had to reset all settings. Once I did that it reinstalled and worked for a couple of days and now won't display messages.

However, on my S9 I keep getting notifications that Blue Mail is using a lot of resources and/or battery life. Are you still getting on OK with it? Have you any other alternative clients to recommend?

    Thanks...

i have faced this issue on places where the internet connection is bad..  so, i think this has something to do with the connection.

After most recent issues occurring again I had to try other mail apps...again.

I have found Blue Mail is fully working and doing all the main functions I require very well so I have removed Outlook, and Gmail, from my LG G6 and will see how Blue Mail is over extended time.
