Change the sharepoint.aspx page

If you click the "sharepoint" tile in the app launcher, you are now taken to  _layouts/15/sharepoint.aspx.

This page is an embarassment so how do I edit/change it?

The "you visited" information shown is rubbish - it's completely inaccurate, out of date and of no use whatsoever to a user. Where is the data pulled from and why does Msft think anyone would want to see this?

We understand admins may have requirements to custom the SharePoint home page or directly change it to the page you want. As we discussed above, the best way to influence our products and services is to submit your feedback via SharePoint Online Uservoice. It will let our related team hear your voice. Many good features are added from customers' good suggestions.

As a workaround, you may create a custom tile. So, users can directly access the SharePoint Online page which is customized by you.

    The matter was raised in the user voice, and Microsoft proposed to fix the app launcher and make it customisable by admins.  But now Microsoft has cancelled the fix ...

    So, given that we can't be redirected to the user voice, how do you propose to offer an Office 365 app launcher and navigation that works and can be customized by admins?

    And why would you want the very front door entry point to your flagship product Office 365 to be such a dysfunctional shambles with no correction on offer?

    6 months later - still no intelligent response? This has now risen to the top of my list of "Excuses I Have To Make For Msft's Lousy Product". Sooner or later someone's going to pull the plug ....

    In addition to the woefully out of date data still showing up on this page, I'm now getting complaints about the "Following" section on the left. When I look at it, NONE of the sites listed are being followed by me. They are private team sites that I have no access to.

    Once again, can somebody take responsibility for clearing up what this page is supposed to do and get all the incorrect data it contains fixed? None of the responses so far address that and it's beyond embarrassing at this point.
