Stop the "don't lose access to your account" nonsense.

I'm prevented from logging in by a "set it up now" button on the generic log in page (using IE10). Like any security conscious enterprise, my company manages my passwords and isn't interested in this "nanny state" option. How do I bypass it?

    Thanks - tried that but it didn't work for us, we still have the same issue (we get the request every time that we start a new session with the portal).

    this is what the admins get here. we do not want admins to have to give out personal info to change passwords. also, if an admin leaves the company but we need to keep the account active, we do not want them to have the ability to change the password just because they supplied a personal email or phone number. we want to control that through our access.

    We've been receiving these nag messages as well starting this week. We've been clicking the "cancel" link at the bottom of the page to get past them. We also use ADFS and directory sync, so all these password changes would be initiated by us on-premises. Not everyone wants their cell number in the corporate directory just to make a nag screen go away.

    Hi Mchv2.0,

    There is no method to disable all the alerts in Office 365. Some alerts can remind us some important incidents which require us to check, for example a subscription is expiring/cancelled or fix domain issue, and these alerts should only show up on the admin center page. If so, this is an expected behavior, we can only minimize the alerts.

    Hi Mchv2.0,

    If you’d like to avoid the alerts, you can enter the mobile number at the local Active Directory and sync to Office 365 as mentioned in previous post. If you don’t want to set mobile phone number for privacy/safety concerns, you can set any number instead to stop the alerts.
