Office 2016 uninstalls my Visio 2013

So, even though I had followed the instructions to install Office 2016 from Office 365 home, it was not successful even after 5 tries, restarting, uninstalling, restarting...my biggest issue is Visio 2013. I purchased it as I need it! But why can't I find any way to just upgrade Visio from 2013 to 2016? There is no instruction! I do not want to buy the new Visio 2016 when I only purchased Visio 2013 a few months ago. Please help!!!

Maxwell, I've posted to this forum a couple of times about this unresolved issue.  I've attempted to contact Accounts & Billing at the Answer Desk several times.  Although they seem to be aware of the problem, I keep getting bounced to other MS Support groups (very inconsistent responses, by the way) who can't help either.  Other MS Support teams have no idea what to do, and tell me the Answer Desk should be able to handle this.  So far, I have not received a private message to help.  I'm hoping you see this request as a reply to one of your prior postings and will put me in contact with competent support.  Thanks.

I am having a similar problem with Office 365 (I upgraded to Office 2016) and a Project Professional 2013 that I purchased separately.  Upgrading to Office 2016 would not work unless I uninstalled Project Profession 2013.  I found the Special Offer For customers and have talked with 4 people at Microsoft but no one would help with the problem.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Not sure how to advise you.   I had the very same issue the first time.

I mentioned that when I took the link from the Offer Site and went to the Billing Chat.  One of the first things I did was paste the Offer URL in the Chat Window.   This time it went real fast.

You could try that, and ask them to respond to the Offer at the URL, that you qualify for.

    Good Luck.
