I am getting the error, “Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. 30088-4” when trying to install Office 365 Home Premium/University. What should I do?

Hi Vidyaranjan,

If you receive this error when trying to install Office 365 Home Premium/University:

“Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error code 30088-4”

Use this article to remove Office and then try installing it again.

    Same here, just reactivated and it will not install and I spoke to "chat online".  They sent me to another department, basically so that department could give me a phone number to call tomorrow.
