In services.msc, there are no options that you can use. Everything is grayed out and unusable.

" Click on System and Maintenance> Administrative Tools> right click Task Scheduler and select Start"... I am confused. That is the menu for opening..., run as administrator..., etc. The only "start" is "Pin to start". It sounds to me as if I should be in "Services.msc".

    Hi Ankush,

Try the steps below and check the result:

Enable the Local Administrator on Windows and then try to install the program:

    1. Press the Windows key to get into the Metro interface if you are not already there.
    2. Enter cmd and right-click on the Command Prompt result that should appear.

This opens a list of options at the bottom. Select Run as administrator there.

    1. Accept the UAC prompt
    2. Enter the following command to enable the hidden administrator account:

              net user administrator /active:yes

    1. If you ever want to disable the account follow the same instructions, but run the following command instead: net user administrator /active:no

Once you have enabled the account, you will see it listed in the user accounts control panel applet, restart the computer and log in to the local Administrator account and try installing Office 365/2013.

Note that the account has not assigned a password to it, and that you should consider setting one to improve account security.

    Let us know the result.

    Thank you.

Pollardie, thank you for your reply, back then I spent hours in a four day period seaching for a solution to that problem, luckly after 4 days of trying ,I decided to burn the software on a DVD, and the problem was solved. I just clicked on set up (it shows only on the DVD), and the installation went smoothly.

How did you burn it? What do i need?

    Plz respond,

    Alex
