A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data.
Dear Microsoft!
I installed the OFFcat. How can I send, attach the excel report?
Best regards

This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I have a Logitech M500 mouse. This mouse has a mechanical mousewheel (the "ticking" kind), which can also be clicked from the sides to horizontally scroll. The great thing as that this works almost everywhere... In my browser, in Notepad++, basically almost everywhere as far as the programs go that I use. Except for Excel 2013.
Possibly related, it also doesn't work in regular ol' Explorer file browser windows. Not a bother, because I use Total Commander. But the horizontal scroll thing does work in Internet Explorer 10, which seems odd to me (same company behind Explorer and Internet Explorer, after all).
When I got the mouse, I did not install any drivers myself. I just connected the mouse and let Windows looks for and install proper drivers completely automatically. And since it works perfectly in the browser and my code editor, I figured the horizontal scroll function was working properly.
Is there perhaps some kind of thing that I need to do to make Excel recognize a horizontal scoll from the scrollwheel, or have I perhaps stumbled upon a bug?
btw, this is my mouse:

Hi Laszlo,
To resolve your concern, see this link: Office Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT) information.
Let us know how it goes.
Dear Microsoft!
Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately doesn't work.
I tried on my new laptop (Win 10 + Office 2016, Logitech G500), and my old desktop computer (win 8.1, offie 2013, Logitech G5). Same problem.
What is the next step?

There is nothing to repair - it's a Microsoft bug since after Office 2003
Try to repair you Excel from Control Panel, URL: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Repair-an-Office-application-7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b
I hope it helps.
