Hi,
I bought the boxed version of Office 2013 Home and Business English edition at a local store.
I come home, open the box and there's no disc (!??)
I go to office.com/setup as per instructions, enter my key and then forced to created a microsoft account.
While creating the microsoft account, I chose by mistake Canada - French.
At the installation page, I realize that the selected language is French and that I cannot change it.
I go over all th My Account options to find the language setting in order to change it but no hope.
I figure that if I download the media maybe I will get the option of choosing my language... guess what.
I burn the image, pop the disc in and its only in French with no choice of choosing English!!!
Please Help I bought an English version, I want the English version!
Thanks,
Please note: this is not about the input language but the installation language (GUI)

Since posting I have managed to get hold of a MS techie via their support line. It did take about half an hour to get through but when I did the chap I spoke to sorted it out straight away by remotely downloading a Office again for me - in English. All is forgiven MS!
I agree wholeheartedly.
Ive just done same thing. Office 2013 installation and somehow ended up in French not English. This is a farce! Cant believe the clever clogs at MS cant sort something to make it easier to change or at least, given the agro it seems to cause make it difficult to set the wrong language by mistake in the first place. Not very happy with MS!!!
Hi Malek
Searching for answers and came across your posts, have you had a resolution to this issue as yet? As my partner has commited the same 'OFFENCE' as I told her, really didn't think it would be such a pain in the rear to change back. She contacted MS and they have stepped her through a process to change the language, (in the majority) to English however, all popup info messages are still appearing in Estonian as apposed to English.
Any further info much welcome and appreciated.
Regards
Mark
Sadly, the only resolution to this problem was to uninstall office in French and reinstall it in English with a new product key supplied by the microsoft "help desk"...
The engineering dept at Microsoft is well aware of this problem and has no solution for it other than this simple and akward fix.
Thanks all for trying to help.
