Download the MergeTools – 20120609 Add-in that I created from the following page of my Windows Live SkyDrive:

https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=5aedcb43615e886b#cid=5AEDCB43615E886B&id=5AEDCB43615E886B%21111

and also the Mail Merging with Charts document that is also on that page.  That document explains how you must set up the Excel Data Source and the Mail Merge Main document to be able to execute a merge with a Chart that is unique to each record in the data source.

    Lisa,

In David's case, the bookmark "Chart" was not correctly defined in the mail merge main document.

If you want to send your files to me, I will take a look at them.

    Hi Doug,

I was hoping you might be able to share how you helped fix the issue David Yu reported in this thread. I am pretty sure I have exactly the same problem.

I would really appreciate any advise / help you can give.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Lisa

    Hi Doug,

I wonder if you might be able to advise?

I completed the installs, created the excel data chart with all the names as indicated in your instructions, I get all the way through to executing the merge and can select the destination and file storage location but at this point the merge fails. I do not get the "continue" button your instructions suggest should follow. I simply remain on the merge page and all of the macros disappear? Is this a familiar issue?

I can send the test files I have created if this helps explain my query better.

    Many thanks.
