Hello, everyone! I definitely got the same problem as yours. In this morning, I find my paper cannot be opened, and Microsoft Word remind me "The name in the end tag of the element must match the element type in the start tag. Location: Part: word/document.xml,
Line: 2, Column: 102041".
If anyone can help me, I will really appreciate it. This is urgent as the assignment is due tomorrow morning!

Thanks a lot!
Interesting sample. It demonstrates an error I haven't seen before. An entire Fallback and AlternateContent element seem to be missing TWICE in your document. The problem was located on page 5 (Fig. 2 Fitting curves of chloride concentration)
I believe I fixed the problem for Word 2010 where the images will show correctly. However, when someone will open the document in Word 2007, they won't see the images. Instead, they will see the following fallback message: "SOMETHING WENT TERRIBLY WRONG
HERE. (YD)". I suggest you remove the images and try to readd them again to your document to get a consisten view across all Word versions.

Could you leave the corrupt file online for a while as to allow a better study of the error?
