I get the following message when i try to open a word document that i desperately need
The name in the end tag of the element must match the element type in the start tag
Location: Part: word/document.xml, Line: 2, Column: 96760
I know how to "unzip" the docx files and get to the main document.xml file, but i know nothing about xml programming. Any suggestions? i got an xml editor and found that there are 6 mismatch errors, but i don't know how to fix them. I also don't know how to rezip al the files back into a docx format. I would love any help. Thanks.

Unfortunately, the type of error in your document is different from those in all other documents handled in this thread. All error messages handled in this thread look like this:
The name in the end tag of the element must match the element type in the start tag.
Location: Part /word/document.xml, Line: 2, Column: 79393
while yours looks like this:
No error detail available
I will try to look into it later today, but I doubt it will be fixable as there is no indication as to what needs fixing (unlike the other files in this thread)
Hi I also have this problem aswell!! I've been trying to open this file for a week before I stumbled onto this forum. So if anyone out there is feeling generous could they please try and open this file.

The correction happened on page 3, somewhere just below the following equation: "x+2001y=4001". Hence, you might want to check out that part.
Again there was the oMath closing tag was in the wrong place.
