I get the following message when i try to open a word document that i desperately need
The name in the end tag of the element must match the element type in the start tag
Location: Part: word/document.xml, Line: 2, Column: 96760
I know how to "unzip" the docx files and get to the main document.xml file, but i know nothing about xml programming. Any suggestions? i got an xml editor and found that there are 6 mismatch errors, but i don't know how to fix them. I also don't know how to rezip al the files back into a docx format. I would love any help. Thanks.

Thanks, that enables me to open my file!
This means I haven't lost anything, but the bad news is that if I try to save any new changes (or even no changes at all), the error is reproduced when the file is re-opened.
Any suggestions?

There were 2 oMath tags incorrectly closed. I'm not sure everything is repaired correctly, but you should be able to check yourself. The errors where in section 2.4 with the equations just above the line "Then, equation 2.?"

dammit, I got the same problem, with the same file again but I've extended the file now, so I cant use the old version...

The error was on page 12, below "Rechenregeln". I think there might be a missing case (a < 0 b <0). I see it in the xml, but not in the document. Anyway, just check that area carefully.
