New Outlook Categories in Favorites not showing mails

I have been categorizing my mails and adding the categories to the favorites. When clicking on the category in the favorites it showed me all mails in the category which was fine up to a couple of hours ago. Now it shows nothing. When I click the 3 dots it opens a pop up telling me "X items (0 unread)" but it doesn't show any items. The same goes in outlook.com in the web

I confirm :) If you change the name of categories, emails show again. But if you go back to old name they disappear again. It is annoying bug! Dear Microsoft why it took so long to fix it?

Also having this exact same issue. Just one of my categories listed in my Favorites pane will not populate emails, though it used to. I started noticing this issue a couple of weeks ago. I have been using the previously-mentioned workaround of searching for my category name and clicking on the category icon that pops up, but it's frustrating.

I am using a business account, and Outlook on Chrome browser.

After all these years of using Microsoft at work, I must say, I've never come across a single piece of genuine feedback from this oh-so-transparent cartel.

Oh, and let's not forget the delightful experience of being treated like a complete IT novice by their ever-so-charming representatives. It's like they think we're all just fumbling around with our computers, clueless about anything tech-related.

Thanks for the workaround! I am still patiently waiting for Microsoft to resolve this.

It's a very helpful workaround. Clever!
