I have been categorizing my mails and adding the categories to the favorites. When clicking on the category in the favorites it showed me all mails in the category which was fine up to a couple of hours ago. Now it shows nothing. When I click the 3 dots it opens a pop up telling me "X items (0 unread)" but it doesn't show any items. The same goes in outlook.com in the web

I am delighted to say that all is now working for me. Clearly that's not the case for everyone though. Hopefully M will sort it soon.

I took someone's feedback in the thread (thank you) and reported via the "Help" tab in Outlook, but I have not received a response.
As a workaround, I pivoted and used the "action items" as a workaround...

Even though it indicates that 74 emails are categorized in this category.
