I AM NOT GETTING THE SOUND NOTIFICATIONS AGAIN :( This is after my pc was updated (microsoft windows). It also is affecting my fingerprint sensor. It does not work anymore. I have to login by typing my PIN :(

HELLO EVERYONE! My email notification sound is BACK. I did not do anything. It just happened today when I logged in. I am using web outlook and chrome browser. I honestly did not make any changes with my settings. So, I guess, Microsoft has already fixed this. Please check yours

I started experiencing this just today. I have been using outlook web for almost two years now and it just happened today. I have turned on all notif as well as in my Google chrome browser, and my pc. All notif has been turned on.
I have also refreshed the settings by turning it off and on, restarted my pc twice today, nothing works.
I have signed in to another outlook account which I also owned for work, and it is doing just fine. Notif sound is working. But in my main email, the email I am using in posting this, is not working at all. Please help. I need the notif sound so I could action all email requests at work on time.

Microsoft support has confirmed this is a bug and it’s working to correct the issue. This issue is in outlook by access and it happens on all browsers.
Play sound is already turned on but still the same issue, no sound when receiving new email. Using Google Chrome browser also.
I am also having the same problem. Started 8/16. I tried turning the notifications off, saved, closed then reopened Chrome, turned on notifications again, checked each individual setting (which is such a pain, if I want notifications on, of course I want sound to play), saved, and nothing. Closed/reopened Chrome and no luck still. Please fix ASAP!
Come on Microsoft, get your act together and reply.
Same issue here! Really need a fix as this is causing a big problem for me.
