"Report Phishing" no longer go to Deleted Folder

In the past few days, I've noticed if I tick emails in the Junk folder to "Report Phishing", they no longer go to the deleted folder. They disappear momentarily and I get the "nothing in junk icon, etc. but, if I go to the inbox and back to the Junk folder, those emails are still there in the Junk folder.

Hopefully, everyone here is using the Report an Issue feature in Outlook to report this to MS ? It's under the Help tab at the top left. Please do if you haven't already.

Hi, I have been having the same issue for weeks now. I use both Edge and Chrome and neither of them delete reported emails. I can't see this as an issue of settings etc. this must be a problem from Outlooks own system... Looking forward to them resolving the problem

Same thing here and it's aggravating! The messages disappear for a minute and look like they are gone, but then come right back! Nothing changed on my end - it all of a sudden just started doing that.

OK.. I'm actually really concerned that the phishing emails are NOT actually being reported since Outlook is reporting them as "unread" after they've supposedly been reported. I also think this due to the very fast time the emails disappear from the list (even though they're not really gone)... before Microsoft messed this up, it would actually take a few seconds for Outlook to do the Reporting process and I could watch the number of junk emails go down one by one. Now it is instantaneous. Not having warm fuzzies about the process working at all.
