    Go to Settings > Mail > Junk Email. As far as I can tell, the set of options is the same as that of the web browser version of Outlook.

    Yes, the new Outlook app has junk mail filtering just like the old Outlook app that comes with Microsoft 365. The difference between the old and new Outlook apps is mainly in their user interface and some additional features that the new app offers. However, both apps have the same core functionality, including junk mail filtering.
