Stop automatically installing the new Outlook

I'm not using "the new Outlook", I'm staying with the "classic Outlook". Since I don't use it, I have to delete the app. To my surprise, it re-installs itself after a period of time. It's super annoying since I have to keep deleting it How do I stop this from happening?

You can block the automatic installation of the new outlook using this script on github:

    https://github.com/SempaiRock/OutlookRemover/releases/tag/1.0

or you can improve the experience in the new outlook by removing all the ads from it:

As of yesterday I've started using Wino Mail, which is very similar to old MS mail interface, the one issue is you can only have 3 email accounts unless you pay for unlimited.

Your fix worked great all day yesterday, no more outlook and could use windows mail multiple times. I'll check back here in a day or so to let tohers know if it keeps working, I fear MS might find a fix for this fix so they can force things.

It helps but 4 point should be different with the new one version of that peace of garbage

I also suggest "fan fork" the Windows mail app that called wino mail on GitHub, which is already available in the windows store https://github.com/bkaankose/Wino-Mailhttps://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9ncrcvjc50wl?launch=true&mode=full&hl=en-us&gl=MD

I tried this but it says I don't have permission to access the WindowsApps folder. It asks me to grant Read permissions (to myself?) but somehow I can't even do that, despite being the Administrator (and only user on my computer). The whole thing is just so dumb

Edit: Seems like I was able to change the permissions, now I'll see whether Outlook reinstalls or not
