Hello

I have emails that appear and disappear in my draft folder but aren't appearing in 'sent.' It's hugely worrying and has happened twice now. They don't have large attachments but there is one recipient in common - could it be something to do with their email address?

It seems only those of us having the same issue are communicating. Why are we not getting any help from Microsoft?

I am also having the same issue when using the new Outlook app on my laptop. Seems this issue have been going on for some time now with lots of other people reporting this same issue.

Microsoft it would be most helpful if you fixed the issues many of us have reported.

It might be best not to release an update version of you aren't prepared to fix the issues.

Please look at this as a matter of urgency.

    Thanks

This is a huge problem. i just started using new outlook and it sucks. many emails go to draft after i press send. i've missed meetings and lost work due to quotes not getting to the client on time.

the other issues is that it doesn't Auto-capitilize letters

    theres no send/receive button

you can't drag a file onto an email or copy and paste it

double click doesn't open a file

i haven't been using it long, but i can't see any benefits accept the look, and i have to figure out where you hid all the buttons i'm used to

can i install the old one again ?

    Dear FayUL,

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.

Realizing that you have a problem with emails getting stuck in the drafts folder.

First of all, you can log in to your web-based mailbox directly to check if you can send or receive mail to or from this contact.

What version of outlook are you using?

If you are using new outlook for windows, please check your internet connection and email configuration.

    1. Check your internet connection and email configuration:

Make sure you are connected to the Internet.

Verify that your email account is properly configured in New Outlook for Windows. To do this, you can go to Settings>Accounts>Administration and verify that your email account is listed and set up correctly.

    1. Restart New Outlook for Windows:

Close and reopen the New Outlook for Windows application. Sometimes a simple restart can solve a glitch.

    1. Repair the installation:

     Navigate to Settings > Installed Applications > Outlook(new) > Advanced > Repair.

Repair the installation of New Outlook for Windows.

    If classic Outlook for Windows.

    1. Please try going to the Drafts folder and resend the email again.
    2. Make sure you check the following points:

Select Click on the File tab > Options > Mail tab > Save Message section.

Set the number of minutes to automatically save items that have not been sent after this number of minutes to 0.
