How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook?
I am not able to directly copy any documents from Explorer and then go to the email that I am working on to paste onto the emial. Before with the Old Outlook I was able to to do this easily but the New Outlook requires me to go to the "paper clip" Icon above then search thru the Explorer to find the file then the specific documents(which couple be hundred documents); this process takes sometime 5 miniuets to find the exact document to copy and paste. I need to do it the Old Outlook ways or "Classic" format so that I can do just the cut and paste as mentioned earlier of this email. Pleas advise ASAP thanks.

I'm just as frustrated. Why change when it works perfectly. Not impressed with Microsoft at all. Obviously, the programmers don't use the tools we all need as they would not have complicated the process with many more steps.
I went back to the classic version even though it shows a little box that says 365. Most of these geeks that develop this stuff are not out in the real world using it. Or they dialogue with other geeks that find this stuff far easier to use then the average consumer. I never upgrade until I am forced to and every time thru the years it has been a PIA. We all spend hours trying to figure this stuff out or where is the little icon as its moved...and then waste more time asking MSFT only to find out nothing can be done but going back to what you had. What a circus.
I have made it to where Outlook does no freeze when I try to drag an email to a personal folder however I get the following
Same problem her only I am using Windows Mail, and it is slowly being replaced with Outlook mail and will be mandatory this year. Still using Windows mail but will sone have to switch over to Outlook mail. It sucks

Unless your company uninstalled Classic Outlook it is probably still there. Normally you should be able to toggle back to Classic Outlook using the steps in this article, Toggling out of the new Outlook for Windows preview - Microsoft Support. However, you can also use both applications on the same time. I have both running most all of the time in my work.
Check if Classic Outlook is still there in folder, C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16. If so, you can start Outlook.exe and then right click on its icon and pin it on the task bar.
The New Outlook Team implemented drag and drop in March. You can monitor this page for status on top requests, Things to look forward to in the new Outlook for Windows - Microsoft Community Hub. I tested dragging email attachments to folders and that worked but dragging an email appears to still being perfected. Give it a try when you get a chance as it is always improving daily.
