How can I add a new person to a recurring invitation without having to send to all participants in the meeting. It doesn't give me the option to send to 'updated invitees only'. I use the desktop version not the web version

To add a person, find the meeting in your calendar right click on the meeting and you can select Forward from the drop-down list, works without resending the invite to everyone.

I can confirm with the rest of the responses here that the solution does not work. There is no save button. The only way to add the additional person still requires one to send the invitation out to everyone again.

    Hi Tracey Farrar ,

    Good day.

Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. We are glad to assist.

To add a new participant to a recurring Outlook invitation without sending it to all participants, follow these steps in the desktop version of Outlook:

    1. Open the invite in Microsoft Outlook.
    2. Click on “Scheduling Assistant”.
    3. Click on the “Add Attendees” button (you can also delete attendees at this step).
    4. The Address Book will appear, allowing you to remove names and add new ones, including optional attendees.

Remember to save your changes after adding the new participant.

I hope this helps let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions .

    Best Regards

This has been fixed now. When you hit send update, you get the option to send to all or send to added / deleted people.
