Selecting text no longer working properly in Outlook Web App on MacOS

I use the Outlook web app on MacOS, and selecting text word by word no longer works (shift + option + arrow on a Mac keyboard). This stopped working sometime this weekend. I tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari) and multiple Macs (Two different MBAs and one MB Mini). I tried it on a PC and it works fine. It seems that something broken on the web app for Mac users over the weekend.

This is a critical shortcut for things like copying and pasting or deleting. Anyone having the same problem and has an idea of what to do about it?

    Well, nice that they have introduced nice nitty gritty icons now:

    But the shortcuts on Mac are still a big pile of 💩. I ask myself: why the hell do they work on new icons instead of fixing this madness??

    Cmd+U for instance, when text is selected, in the meantime does not underline the text anymore... No: the email thread is marked unread.

    PLEASE, Microsoft, stop this. Please, it's enough.

    Not so for me, sadly. The simplest way to break things is to just focus the cursor in the message body field, push option, and then push command. Focus is now completely in the wrong place.

    This means you can either navigate text with arrow keys and option, or arrow keys and command, but never one before the other. Very bad UX.

    • Select Settings (wrench) > General > Accessibility >
    • Under Keyboard Shortcuts select "outlook.com"

    I think we need someone with a corporate IT department to put in a ticket. Folks with a personal account won’t have any leverage. I asked my company to do it and they told me to just use the desktop app, but hopefully someone else has better luck.

    Writing emails on Mac became just crazy and time-consuming. Thanks Microsoft for making things harder than usual... =/

    Please, anyone who reads and replies for a definitive fix?

    Sorry to ask: does the script above fixes all the issues? I actually got cmd + arrow key disappearing from an email to nowhere...
