Hello, I have changed my password with outlook and after I tried to updated with BlackBerry hub services either on my android device or Pixel 8 can't authenticate or connect to server errors persists. Microsoft Azure certificate comes faulty as well and I need a solution for it because it looks like nobody in this office using BlackBerry hub app in pixel 8 and even BlackBerry key2 can't connect to outlook. After uninstall and reinstall does the same "can't connect to server" or "can't authenticate" error not on exchange server, imap or pop. I tried everything and Microsoft seems not to answer questions about it.

Hi,
I just wanted to let you and everyone know I have now fixed all of mine. I had 3 Microsoft accounts all constantly asking for passwords and emails.comimg through intermittent.
I went into account number 1 on my computer and set up 2 factor authentication and have an authenticator app for it. This then means the BBHub won't connect without a special password. In the security settings on the Microsoft account you need to get a new app password and it is this app password that you use in the BB hub for account number 1 rather than your usual email account password. This is because BBHub cant ask you to use the authenticator and confirm a code with it, I think.
So there we have it. I've done this for all 3 accounts, sent test emails and they all been sent and delivered immediately with notifications straight away.
Thank you for your help. In fact I skipped a few pages and missed that bit about the IMAP workaround. For me email was the most important part since most (if not all) my calendar events and contacts are already on the remaining Blackberry Apps and synced to Google.
So instead of keeping up pressure on BB and Microsoft to solve this issue, we need to use IMAP instead of full Exchange services, and also use the Outlook app to synch our calendar and contacts ...
And get people who berate us for wanting the bug fix, and tell to live with this cumbersome and asynchronous kluge?
Gotcha.
Thanks for the suggestions. My BBHub used to be like that too, I had a persistent authentication error most of the time and a few times a day it synced on its own with the emails coming through. Since Outlook forced me to reset the password I was unable to get it working again so as of now I simply removed the account from BBHub to get rid of the authentication error notification.
Personally I have no intention of paying for a MS plan. I already pay for Google One, which is litterally half the price for double the storage space and much more integrated in the phone, being and Android device. I have slowly and gradually moved from Outlook to GMail since I replaced my BB10 phone with one running Android, so I guess this will be the final nail in the coffin for me to stop using my MS account for anything outside XBox login.
And before paying for MS Exchange and advice you to read a bit more. I have skipped quite a few pages in this thread so there may be something I missed but I recall quite a few people complaining corporate accounts and users with Office360 licenses didn't sync, so even with paid MS Exchange subscriptions maybe some sync and others don't...
