'New Outlook' - how to save sent emails in a different folder instead of Sent folder

I have multiple subfolders for each of my projects. When I'm sending an email in my previous outlook, I was able to assign my email to a different subfolder than 'Sent Items' before I sent the email. I now don't see that as an option. How can I do this in the new Outlook?

    Have they brought this feature back yet? I hate new outlook, why do people always have to ruin their own product by removing things without asking.

    I concur. Won't be switching to new Outlook until I have to given this helpful feature has been removed

    I agree, I'm moving back to the old Outlook until the save sent item in another folder is part of the new Outlook.

    Previously, you could set the destination from the email you were writing. This process had ~3 mouse operations. Now you have to do those same mouse operations, but spread out over different areas of functionality, which adds to the effective effort required. I believe there is at least 3 times more effort in moving emails to the required folder than in New Outlook than 'Classic' Outlook. This means New Outlook is reducing productivity for those of us that are organised, as we now have to perform these extra actions to obtain our previous levels of productivity.

    A loss of productivity with any software product is not good and is not what any decent software development team should be aiming for. The New Outlook should make all users productive.

    I would like to know the argument for removing this feature. As a software developer it is good to know why these changes were implemented, so that I can use the same arguments when users of my software notice design errors that result in a loss of productivity.
