Managing personal Outlook.com account settings, security, and privacy
I'm constantly (almost daily) unable to log in to my Hotmail/Outlook email account despite using the correct password. Microsoft has asked me to reset my password numerous times and have done so. (Five times in last nine days.) Often wondering why? Yet, often immediately after resetting the password and within a minute or two, I attempted to log in with new password and received the error message "Too many requests." This is not a problem on my end since I have various security software. Microsoft has among other excuses stated it's a virus problem. It's not! Not only do I have an anti-virus program installed, I also have a screenshot of Microsoft diagnostics stating there are no issues.
Now if as Microsoft has also suggested that supposedly someone is trying to access my account numerous times with the wrong password. Why is that my problem? Why is this issue, not resolved when I change my password?
I believe this is a MICROSOFT PROBLEM!!
Perhaps because I constantly block numerous spam/phishing email messages from addresses that more than likely Microsoft sells or provides to certain interests.
Of course, you can never speak or get direct help from anyone at Microsoft to resolve whatever is creating these issues.
This is ridiculous! I've had this email address for a long time (decades) and only over the past year or two have I encountered these type of frequent problems!
7/20-Now, Access DENIED error message is received when trying to contact Microsoft "support."
This is ridiculous! These corporations need to be held accountable, monopolies (little competition, less than 5-10 companies) broken up, and current laws/regulations need to be enforced along with further regulations to help the consumer. Welcome to the Corporate States of America!
7/23 Same constant problem with absolutely no help or solution(s) from Microsoft!
This is a MICROSOFT/Outlook problem!! F&*% Microsoft!
Time to stand up People and stop accepting this BS!
