Outlook sort by name, but can't jump to name

Yes, but does it find all related or just some related or what Microsoft thinks should be related? Again I usually use this now deleted feature because I don't want everything related nor do I want all the possible search results, I usually want the last email from the sender and that email is buried 1250 emails down. So just type the first or first/second letter of the name and viola, I get the email. I also don't have to remember exactly how to spell the name. Took 1/2 second, now it take 30 seconds or more.

Came here to say the same thing. I noticed this feature missing within 2 minutes of converting to the NEW Outlook; came here to find the workaround. Sorely disappointed to see that customers have been complaining about this for over a year already and still no solution. My company forced the upgrade, so I don't even have the option to revert back.

Adding that I feel your pain - the removal of the jump feature is costing me HOURS per day.

I've tried to upvote all four requests. Let's hope they fix this soon!

Well done Microsoft, just another way for you to make our lives more difficult, give your R$D team a pat on the head for not thinking about your millions of users , cause they only use apple personally.

stupid, that was the best function about outlook, search quickly "From" then type a letter to get to the person who sent it!!!
