This is the WORST spam filtering of any of my email programs.

I am constantly getting junk in my inbox and important emails are sent to spam.

Even my upcoming vacation flight emails from delta airlines and other businesses. This is causing havoc and stress I don't need!

What are my options? Increase spam filtering and send more important emails to junk?

Lessen spam filtering and get more junk in my inbox????

80s huh? So you are saying you don't get spam in your AOL account huh? Yea ok what ever. personal computers didn't come on the scene until the 89. I know I was selling them when they first showed up in retail.

Not blaming, just comparing. I don't use my email addresses as widely spread as you do. That's the difference. Some of my email address have been around since late 80s too. Spam has not been a big problem whether it's yahoo, gmail, hotmail or my work place email.

I use my email to contact people and businesses (local, national, globally) I've had this email for about 30 years.

REGARDLESSS. My other email accounts, whether yahoo, gmail, or another ISP provider account that has been around for 30 years, NONE of the others have the kind of spam hotmail does.

So let's not blame the victim here ok Ron?

I have 1 spam in my hotmail junk mail folder. Inbox is clean (only mail from contacts). I've never marked anything as spam. Any chance it depends on how the users use their email address?

This old and I know the horse is dead and a flat pulp by now but I thought I would offer some help to the <removed> SOFTWARE MANAGERS AT MICROSOFT.

Hey dolts, maybe, just maybe, if the email name in front of the @ is 41 characters, MAYBE ITS SPAM AND IT SHOULD BE FILTERED AND SENT TO THE SPAM FOLDER!!!!!!!!!!!!

OR MAYBE PROVIDE AN OPTION TO SEND IT TO SPAM IF THERE ARE MORE THAN 30 CHARACTERS!!!

So many possibilities and yet so many <removed> programmers.
