Why is Hotmail Spam Filtering So Bad???

This is the WORST spam filtering of any of my email programs.

I am constantly getting junk in my inbox and important emails are sent to spam.

Even my upcoming vacation flight emails from delta airlines and other businesses. This is causing havoc and stress I don't need!

What are my options? Increase spam filtering and send more important emails to junk?

Lessen spam filtering and get more junk in my inbox????

Seriously! It's also getting worse. I get so many spam and phishing emails. I'm reporting and deleting at least 20 emails a day. I'm at the point where I don't see the purpose in having a Microsoft email anymore. I also have Yahoo and Gmail and they do not have this problem. I'm just going to have to start moving over to those for everything and leave hotmail for spam because that's all it's good for.

My Inbox now looks like my junk email folder EVERY DAY.

It looks like I just need to move this over to my gmail account. I have no desire to patronize the ads for this company.

Here's another clue for you. If the persons email name is "hello" or there are ===== under the words in the subject. IT'S PROBABLY SPAM

No offense, but there's no reason to be posting these examples here. Mandy isn't on the outlook team and can't pass along your examples to the team. Creating rules is a fair amount of work for a user with not a lot of benefit. If spam lands in the Inbox, mark it as spam/junk. That will tell outlook that it's spam and will help the spam filters improve.

I have repeatedly "tagged" junk emails as JUNK but they still are not filtered out. Even emails that are in my Junk folder somehow end up in my Inbox even after, again, labeling them as "junk." Someone is asleep at the wheel.

Camplejuneswater. Get 6-10 a day along with a dozen Anderson windows. There isn't an app for android. So darn sick of this. Had my account for 30 years & it has never ever sucked like it does now. Will be transferring everything over to a different server; which will take half a decade to get unattached from the big M.
