Why is Hotmail Spam Filtering So Bad???

This is the WORST spam filtering of any of my email programs.

I am constantly getting junk in my inbox and important emails are sent to spam.

Even my upcoming vacation flight emails from delta airlines and other businesses. This is causing havoc and stress I don't need!

What are my options? Increase spam filtering and send more important emails to junk?

Lessen spam filtering and get more junk in my inbox????

Always an excuse! This is typical behaviour from Microsoft. Never your fault. Never acknowledging any wrong doing etc… These people are 100% right to complain. Your spam protection is UTTER RUBBISH! I keep blocking and marking emails as spam or as phishing scam but yet again they keep coming. This is really unacceptable. SORT IT OUT!!!

Don't expect ANY useful answers from answers.microsoft.com. It's been terrible for well over a decade and all answers are just simply cut-and-paste and very rarely actually address the issue.

I find that this place is full of Independent Advisors whose 1st language isn't English. They're eager to help but fail to understand the problem or post. They often ask what's already been given on the original post or misunderstand the question/scenario. And yes, they often give us canned response, copy/paste a million times or give suggestions that have been attempted but failed to solve the problem. In short, their replies are often useless. Some of those volunteers actually do have great knowledge of the products/technology.

I would say that is a horrid business strat.

Only reason why im not using this email as much, and started using Gmail. Is because of said issue.

Curious how much of my information they harvested and sold to these 3rd party spam/scam artists
