How do I stop the Yahoo sign-in request pop-up on my Outlook 365 Inbox?

Unfortunately, no information was provided for the questions asked pn July 30th. You may want to review my eariler responses.

Bottomline, the only way Outlook would ask about any Yahoo account is if an existing account is configured which uses Yahoo servers. Would have absolutely nothing to do with any stand-alone Yahoo account otherwise.

#1 - The reason your screenshot is different is because you did not selsct the Verizon account as the first step

#2 - As has been mentioned before, Verizon used to use Yahoo servers versus AOL and still might for some regions for all I know - I'm from Canada and not a Verizon customer

Log into your Verizon account and follow whatever steps are presented to contact them, either by phone or online

The real problem is finding the "root cause" of any issue since the same "symptom" can appear for many different causes.

Certainly did not intend to offend you with my reply to the question as to whether your previously reply solved my problem. I was just intending to indicate that my problem has not yet been resolved. I have very much appreciated your help so far, and hope you will not stop your attempts to solve my problem.

Account Information/Account Settings widow looks different than the screenshot that you sent to me. I do not know how to get to "server settings".

#2. The link you provided seems to provide information as to how to add Yahoo to my Outlook desktop. I do not want to add Yahoo to my Outlook desktop.

#3. How can I ask Verizon/AOL if they made changes to my account?

#4. Since you have indicated that others have had a problem similar to mine, I will appreciate any input they might have.

If you have any further suggestions to address my problem, I will appreciate your help. Again, sorry to have offended you. That was certainly not my intent.

A little unclear as to why you marked my previous response which only asked questions to clarify you environment as not resolving your issue

Re: Your Verizon account

#1 - The information relevant to that account would be what the current server settings for the account are set to. Done by going to

<File> --> <Account Settings> --> <Server Settings> as shown in the attached screenshot

#2 - The information asked about the version / build / channel info was shown in the attached screenshot - it was not the informtion when clicking on the <About Outlook> button which does not show what channel you are on

A number of people have reported having issues similar to what you've described since the above came into being

Without knowing anything else about what is going on, Verizon did at one point, use Yahoo servers.
