New Outlook for Mac does not show emails older than 30 days

Hello,

I needed to find an email that I keen the date that was send to me. So I start scrolling down to my Inbox. To my surprise, I could not scroll further than 30 days.

What's up with that? Only 30 days of ?

Is there a way for the New Outlook to increase that limit of showing only 30 days of emails?

Unfortunately searching in Outlook (either new or old look), seems to be getting worse and worse. Several people in my company have complained that search does not return all emails that should appear and it happened to me several times. So it is not that I can rely on search anymore.

If such simple things cannot be available, I could not imagine if Outlook for Mac will ever get feature parity with the Windows version.

    Can you please fix this? 30 days is simply not enough and there is no option to sync for longer.

    It is not the first time that Microsoft has pissed out of the jar. But this is truly sensational. The most disconcerting thing is that users ask precise questions and Microsoft responds with meaningless answers.

    Has Microsoft found a solution for this?

    It is professionally crippling to be unable to search back through emails older than one month (my mailboxes all contain a random scattering of emails before this, but nothing of any value). What is Microsoft thinking? It might look nice and work better than it used to but, functionally, Outlook has degenerated into dumbed-down, stunted program that is less powerful than Apple Mail—which comes free with every Mac.

    There is so much else wrong with it too (don't get me started on the way it sends calendar invitations straight into the trash as soon as they've been accepted—when they are addressed to an IMAP email it risks disappearing with nothing in either your calendar or your inbox. Doh!).

    Seriously disappointed Microsoft. You charge Mac users for the privilege having an easier interface with PCs at the cost of making the Mac experience poorer—that's a pretty poor strategy if you want a sustainable business in the growing world of Mac users.

    Nope, not alone and a lot of reads too, but no valid response from MS. I think it is a "feature" to improve the speed of the application. I'd like to err on the side of configurability. Probably need to post in the MAC forums instead of here.

    Same problem - Just bought a new Mac and decided to go for a full new install of everything. This version of Office 365 looks like it was designed for the simple minded and they forgot to add features we need.

    Displaying emails is pretty basic for a email client. If this isn't fixed I may need to use a different client which would be a PITA.

    While I am moaning - STILL no email count on the Mac version.

    HOW CAN MICROSOFT BE THIS RUBBISH?
