New Outlook for Mac does not show emails older than 30 days

Hello,

I needed to find an email that I keen the date that was send to me. So I start scrolling down to my Inbox. To my surprise, I could not scroll further than 30 days.

What's up with that? Only 30 days of ?

Is there a way for the New Outlook to increase that limit of showing only 30 days of emails?

Unfortunately searching in Outlook (either new or old look), seems to be getting worse and worse. Several people in my company have complained that search does not return all emails that should appear and it happened to me several times. So it is not that I can rely on search anymore.

If such simple things cannot be available, I could not imagine if Outlook for Mac will ever get feature parity with the Windows version.

    Go to Help, and re-activate previous Outlook version.

    All your historic emails will appear. Mine go back and show everything since the email account was created.

    It's the only way.

    Insane, but the only way.

    When they get their finger out at MS and sort it I'll re-upgrade.

    (whatever you do - DO NOT HIT THE "NEW OUTLOOK" SLIDER" next to the search (top right)

    However, you will not be able to create Calendar items (with Team links)

    Someone mentioned the version 16.7 on Mac works and displays all emails. I am now on 16.76 and it looks like Microsoft reverted the fix. It does not show the older emails again. There is no way to display those or search those older ones, especially for emails from other POP servers. Office 365 emails seem to have a way loading older emails by using the "Load More conversations" option while browsing emails (scrolling down). But this is frustrating that we cannot view older emails from other servers.

    Similarly - the outlook (new) on Mac still does not have the import option enabled to import the pst email files from windows PCs still.

    Not sure why these basic features are not provided by Microsoft.

    There is a filter setting you can use to search for older mails between certain dates or as far back as 6 months. press the filter icon to the right of the search bar, choose custom dates for specifics or more than 6 months. other than that choose how far back you want to search:)
