Did quick parts disappear with the new outlook? I can't access my old quick parts or make new ones.

Quick parts is still in Outlook. But it is hidden in a menu option not obvious it needs to be selected. I added Quick Parts to my QATB, "but" it won't render until I open a new email template. IMHO it doesn't help that both the Ribbon and Quick Action Toolbar change depending on what Outlook template you are working in.

Example here is my | In Box | QATB without Quick parts rendering:

Start an email. From the newly rendered menu bar select [Insert] and look in the | Text | section of the ribbon.

And now the Quick Parts I've added to my QATB is rendering.

It's literally mind boggling to me why anyone would think a product used primarily for business communications should have illustrations more prominent than items used to increase productivity. IMHO the marketing people need some adult leadership.

The OP is referring to the new Outlook App from the MS Store. QuickParts is not available in that version at this time (hopefully MS will put that feature back soon).

I finally found the answer. Quick Parts is no longer. Follow the instructions below to the replacement called My Templates. I hope this saves others the frustration and loss of time that I experienced. 😒

In the new Outlook for Windows, reusable text blocks are stored in My Templates:

1. Create a new message or a reply.
2. On the Insert tab, select   Apps > My Templates.
3. In the pane on the right, select    Template.
4. Give the text block a title, then enter the text you want in the box below the title.
5. Select Save.

The new text block is added to the list in the My Templates pane. To insert that text block, in a message, position your cursor where you want the text to appear, select Insert > My Templates, then select the template name.

Agreed. We use quick parts a lot. This is crushing.

Please add Quick Parts asap!
