Cannot manually sort folders with new Outlook

Hi All

I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.

Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).

Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.

It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.

Can anyone assist?

Thank you

Thomas

I am still using the Classic Outlook, yesterday outlook automatically sorted my folders alphabetically and I have lost the ability to manually sort.

I have a lot of folders, and this has slowed my workflow considerably.

Please put the ability to manually sort my Inbox Folders back.

20.08.2024, over a year since the original issue has been raised and this still persists.

I'm reverting to the original look. I cannot work if I cannot reorder my folders.

This is something i have been closely been monitoring for over a year now. Crazy that it still hasnt been added to the new outlook as its such a seamless and useful tool that 99% of people utilize on a daily basis.

Mid way down is a tab for reorganizing folders and it looks like its set to release in September

Oh, my goodness. Why has this essential feature not been implemented? Over a year since the original post!

It is now July 2024 and this still an issue. It is really inconvenient that this is not fix yet.
