When your in an email, there are usually up and down arrows top right on the page, allowing me to scroll to the next/previous email...

They aren't there today, is this a glitch or have Microsoft once again updated the look of Outlook and removed a REALLY useful feature???

Thank you Gabriel! Please explain the frustration on the users end. It was very convenient to be able to flip thru emails with the arrows (using a mouse/finger pad) instead of having to delete an email in order to move to the next one, or having to navigate back to the inbox. Not convenient whatsoever.

What happened to Next Item/Previous Item arrows in Outlook?

MAC / PC and all browsers are affected.

Some random update/change removed the NEXT / PREVIOUS arrows.

    Outlook web interface.

Microsoft needs to update the outlook.com interface.

No shortcut can replace this ease of function.

That's good if you have a physical keyboard to access those short cuts but when using a tablet or a phone the arrows are must. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah. Not only is it subjectively annoying to have things move from where you are habitually used to having them, but the new location of the "trash can" icon is inferior even by an objective standard. It takes more conscious effort to align the correct icon with the particular email you want to delete, when it is way far to the side like that. The old location right next to the subject was more intuitive.
