Right click paste not working in Outlook 365

I am operating Office 365 email on Windows 10.

When I compose an email, the program will allow me to right click and copy words. But it will not allow me to right click and paste words. It gives me only the option to paste an emoji.

I also cannot find the paste icon at the top of Microsoft 365 to use that function.

I tried to upload a screenshot but it won't go through.

    Thanks for the link, BirdDog. I tried the workaround and it does work... well, sort of.

    Firefox AND Outlook context menu BOTH pop up at the same time when I right click (snapshot below). The red box is Outlook context menu (that has Emoji in it) covered by Firefox context menu (see light blue box). Well, at least you can paste now.

    Firefox workaround (credit goes to jscher2000 at mozilla.org)

    Type about:config in the address bar and accept the risk

    search for dom.event.contextmenu.enabled in the search bar

    Click the icon (red arrow) to turn it to FALSE. Refresh outlook.live.com. You should now get Firefox context menu on top of Outlook context menu.

    jsher2000 has a workaround maybe to make Firefox's menu permanent no matter the site's default is.....I think....haven't had time to look at it.

    Hi Ron6576 Thanks for the clarity! Of course, in Chrome, which I use a lot, I get the same Emoji menu with a right click shift. Really miss the full menu! I am not a developer, however, my hope was the site was calling those menu settings from the registry. That would open the possibility of changing them. I see there are several threads on this problem and haven't seen anyone yet with that experience. My problem is fixed and was a clipboard blocking problem. The missing options in user's emoji menus seems to be another problem. And yes, it looks like permissions in Firefox are totally different.

    For me, this menu is now available ony from the Subject line of the email ...bummer. So, I think with some registry change I can make it available for the body of the email. This would help those who have menu problems.

    For me browser context menu is available everywhere (To, From, Subject etc) except in the mail body (Firefox browser).
