Configuring preferences and options in Outlook.com
Kindly help me to restore my lost email address: ******@outlook.com
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I am using the free version of Outlook.com and followed the forums and help how to set up a GMail sync to Outlook.com.
However since two days I got this clicking on the "Sync Email" menu.
Even the X button on the upper right corner does not operates when being in this menu.
I tried this menu in browsers like Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera.
All the same results.

Same problem.
Same problem
Hello ReynaldoB,
10 days left, the problem is the same.
The users begging for help.
Microsoft doesn't do anything.
Moderators are trying to save the situation somehow.
The only reason why I'm trying to use Outlook.com in full functionality is that Gmail is restricted at my workplace but Outlook.com is not.
I am simply forwarding the messages from Gmail to my outlook account.
It would be better to answer the emails also from Outlook.com platform, but it seems to be too problematic...
Thanks for your advice to use Outlook.com as a web mail client for Gmail.
I suppose that if Gmail (the protocol?) is restricted then even through Outlook.com would be restricted also.
Perhaps I had to try it, but have very limited time...
I really hope that the users relying only on Microsoft infrastructure will got help sooner or later...
Have a nice day ReynaldoB!

Kjkent was trying to use IMAP protocol to setup his email account in an email program.
Kjkent is using two-step authentication for his account which means that an app generated password is required when using IMAP protocol.
Kjkent's problem had nothing to do with the missing 'Sync email' page.
