this is my view in the "Day" tab. the blue time bar has disappeared. the one that advances with the current time.

In the week view, the blue line is there but it extends across previous days but not to the current one or future dates.

anyone know how to fix this?

Just got this update at work and agree that it is very unintuitive and should be fixed. I guess since it has been over a year and nothing has happened that I shouldn't hold my breath. Way to go MS...

What was the reason to have the time bar indicator not go through Todays view in the desktop app but have it in Teams and web outlook?

I have noticed that this problem seems to be just in Outlook (not in MSTeams or Microsoft 365). And I am starting to believe that this is a baby step towards trying to phase out Outlook (on the computer) all together. If that's the case its a shame... because all of these MS processes seem to work together as needed. Why not just fix this little thing that is so frustrating and let us all work how we like? I might be showing my age a bit but... I was never a huge fan of Outlook over the years but I know it and I'm more comfortable with it than the other MS calendar options. And I like knowing my data is in my machine and not just out in "the cloud". This shouldn't be that difficult to fix.
