My Microsoft account is locked with Compliance Lock since for 11 days now, with no end in sight.

I get the following message when I try and log in:

Your account has been locked.

We've detected some activity that violates our Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account.

Unlocking your account

To unlock your account, you'll need some additional assistance. Navigate to "aka.ms/compliancelock" and we'll get you to the right place.

I have completed the Account Reinstatement form ((https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/concern/AccountReinstatement)) and got this reply:

This is an automated message to let you know we have received your inquiry regarding your Microsoft account. Your request number is xxxxxxxxx and we will get back to you as soon as we are able. Please do not submit additional requests as this will add additional volume and only slow our response.

We sincerely apologize for this delay as we know this means you may not have access to your account. We are working to resolve your case and will update you as soon as we have additional information.

All duplicate requests will be closed and responses will be sent on the original escalation.

Sincerely

Microsoft Customer Protection

I still haven't heard back. I can't access my email/contacts/calendar/OneDrive and it's very frustrating. I have important emails I cannot access. There is supposed to be contact within 24 hours – it is now 11 days!

Ive been on the phone with microsoft  with Just about the same type of case,  I  had taken a break from gaming for a month, came back to find out there was successful logins from states away,  i updated my security and changed my passwords, the next day microsoft locks my account due to compliance, i submitted a compliance ticket to have it ignored it has almost been two weeks of talking to  microsoft every day multiple times a day. Ive had 4 cases opened now 3 closed due to lack of info about  my account . I even filled out a 17 question form manually on a piece of paper because compliance team is horrible at replying, even added a photo of my drivers ID, wasnt enough info. Was told i was missing important info. Serial number and Xbox libe console ID from my old console, so i got in contact with the person i sold it to and got the info , now heres to waiting even longer and probably hitting a dead end. Ive had this account for 10 years , alot of money and time put into games and subscriptions, to have this “offline team”  giving me horrible customer service, and by seeing these answer forums most people have not gotten access to their locked accounts, this is the worst way to treat a customer and baffled by the lack of care put into helping people with situations such as mine.

Welcome to the club. I'm waiting now for 96 days. At the 100th day I'll host a party to celebrate Microsoft's efficiency. \o/

"This is ridiculous. They accuse me of a serious violation, won't tell me what it is, and then proceed to permanently lock the account. There is no recourse! I cannot at least retrieve any important emails or files from my OneDrive.

It's like being charged by the police, convicted by a judge, and going to jail without knowing the charges and not having a trial"

That's exactly what they're doing, and unfortunately we all accepted to be treated this way when checked the "Accept terms and conditions" box without reading it. It's crazy and I feel naive for trusting my digital life to this organization.

I share the same feeling about OneDrive. My entire family uses it and we all returning to hard drives as the service is quite untrustworthy. I'm also not renewing any of my Microsoft's licence products as I don't know what's the next stab in the back I'll get from them. Passed 89 days since my account was locked and I'm sure, reading back and forth the code of conduct, that I didn't violate any term and still, here I am.

I did it earlier. Once logged, it said my account is locked too.
