Hello

My accounts have all been blocked  through a violation of Microsoft terms.  This has been applied to skype, xbox, one drive, email and so on.

I have no idea how i have violated terms.  What I do know is that my samsung phone, said I must transfer my back ups to one drive as they were discontinuing their service.  I did transfer the back up and then the violation was reported to me by Microsoft.  I cannot find anyone to discuss this with.

I have filed using the below advice that continues to show whenever I try to login, as per this message.

The message I receive on my account is:

Your account has been locked

We’ve detected some activity that violates our Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account.

Unlocking your account

To unlock your account, you’ll need some additional assistance. Navigate to "aka.ms/compliancelock" and we’ll get you to the right place.

I have a reference number, but no way of following up.  can anyone advise?

I just got access again after being told I violated terms. I found out when trying to login to my Xbox Series X a few minutes ago.. on my BIRTHDAY. Luckily all I had to do was have them send a security code via text and then enter it in. It was restored.

I still want to know WHAT I did wrong?!??

    They won’t explain it.

They just don’t care or even employ anybody to care, it’s a dead end and believe me I’ve tried.

I had the same problem.  I'm trying to set up a "family" with a new o365 account.  I simply wanted to share a folder in one drive with my family and have access to it on our mobile devices... this has somehow 'violated' MS policy... then what is the GD point of your software??  You want people to share and collab with family and have access anywhere at any time but you constantly ask for log ins, logion verifications, I've had MS send me more codes in the last day then I have in the last 5 years... for simply signing in. Security doesn't have to be that annoying if you do it right, which obviously MS isn't. You constantly email me about 'suspicious activity ' and sign-ins from my other devices and you mark my sharing invites as spam.  Onedrive on my new w10 pc doesn't sync without "something going wrong". This is all in the last 24 hours.... So why am I getting rid of my dropbox??  A service I've used seamlessly for 10 years and it just works??  1 day of your product and its been KB articles, forum posts and headaches.....  you have a lot to learn MS.  How you still manage to fail in the dumbest of ways is beyond me.

My vote is some of the smarter guys in this community organize and bring a class action suit against them for causing an enormous impact to our lives for no good reason. I say bury them.
