Whilst using Windows 10 Pro, I am receiving notifications in the notification centre when I have received a new email in Outlook. However, when I click the email in the notification centre it does not open the email.

Please can you help sort this issue. Followed all other forums etc. and these have not helped solve my issue.

There is another thread about the same issue with 5 pages of "same same" replies.

One says they have received an update that finally fixes it, but I have not.  Anyone else?

I have the same problem. Just upgraded from Win 7 Pro by necessity because I couldn't last any longer without support. Now in Win 10 pro sorting through setup and have lost my ability to click email notifications that take me to my desktop Outlook which is configured to my requirements. instead I am going to online Outlook which i DO NOT WANT.

I see nine pages of comments here with similar issues.

COME ON MICROSOFT - PROPOSE A SOLUTION! You're forcing this set-up on us and costing many of us wasted time in sorting through trivial, irritating, ill-functioning features.
