Outlook app for Android keeps crashing

My google pixel 2 phone recently updated the outlook app. Now the app crashes on startup. I tried clearing the cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Ive removed my work account as well. Still will not work. I get as far as the adding account page then it crashes and ask to send a report.

    Bought a brand new Lenovo, so I bought a Office Business program to upload . . .  NOTHING worked, the key, the help via phone, but what microsoft DID do, was make the new Program useless, unless I download another 200 dollar security system . . .  "Microsoft" . . . too big to fail huh?  They FAILED me!! As far as I am concerned they are scamming to sell a "security" system JUST to upload their precious Office program.  If Microsoft was in ANYWAY concerned and desired to help they would call me with a product key for the security system so I CAN install the program I have LEGALLY purchased.  

    so, what is Microsoft going to do to help?  Well, we will see, huh . . .

    Place phone on airplane mode. This will allow you to open app without crashing. Go to settings and select reset option for all account. Turn airplane mode off and you should be good to go.

    Disabled wifi and outlook stopped crashing after starting it.

    I am having an issue with the app on my Samsung Tablet.  When I open the search option the app crashes.  I have reset, I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times.

    The app works fine in all of its operations on my samsung S8 phone, the issue only occurs on my tablet.  Samsung S5e.
