Turn Off Advanced Threat Protection in Outlook.com

First, I have an @msn.com email address. This is not an Office 365 business email address!

All the links in my email prefaced with the https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com.  Looking this up is part of the Exchange advanced threat protection package which they talk about in Office 365 for business.  How do I turn this off for my personal @msn.com email account.  It is actually causing more problems for me than it "protects" me so I need to turn this off.  How do I turn this off?  Again, this is happening on a personal account, not a business account.

    I’ve managed to disable this unrequested and unwanted feature twice previously. Yesterday Microsoft decided to enable it for me again. 

    The feature is no longer under the Diaond premium security advanced setting.

    There is now an option to disable “let microsoft protect me from scams and phishing attempts”  no explanation of what this feature is called, if it is ATP, or how it protects me.

    I turned it off hoping for success. When i got my next daily newsletter, safelinks were not present.

    I used their webmail client so I could click on the "?" toolbar icon to go to Help and contact support.  I reported the problem and requested they disable the Safe Links feature on my Hotmail account.  Took a couple days but they got it done.  E-mails that have arrived in the last day are no longer redirected to their safelinks.protection.outlook.com domain.  However, all the old e-mails they had modified before are still pointing at their redirection service.  I'm not going to bother editing all those e-mails to correct their untoward alteration of URLs.

    I have stepped over on my private email server. Was client for over 20 years.

    So happy to be gone there! Microspiesoft.

    They also fixed it for me very quickly after I emailed them, so I can't complain about that. Really needs to have a simple opt in/out option in the settings though.
