Outlook Mobile for Android Sync Settings?

I just installed Outlook Mobile for work as my company moved to Office 365.

Here's my question, whenever I have previously used Outlook there was a setting option to sync email at specific intervals such as every 5 minutes, every hour, manual sync, etc. I can't find this setting any longer.

Where did it go? Thanks!

I would like to inform you that the sync interval  cannot be set for the Outlook application on android phone. Outlook sync automatically whenever it is connected to internet, it can be also sync by swiping the screen downwards.

    Hi George, 

    I haven't played around with Androids native Do not Disturb settings .

    No I'm not talking about the mail notification settings. It only allows all mail/none. I noticed this just today that there is a new bell icon on the left pane when you hit the three lines. The bell takes you to the Do not Disturb settings. I'm not sure since when this was added but I noticed it only now. It wasn't there when I was fumbling around for manual settings few weeks ago.

    My version is 2.2.194 (275) updated 13 hrs ago.

    Hi Chethz,

    As I said in my first reply, Do Not Disturb has been a function of Android itself for quite some time (and I am very much a newbie to Android after having had Windows Phone 8.1 and 10). It has never been a function of Outlook itself (on Android).

    Have you only just discovered this when drilling down within Outlook into the mail notification settings? If so you'll find the main Do Not Disturb settings within the main Notification settings on your phone - not within Outlook (though it may link through to them).

    The version on my phone, 2.2.192 (275), looks pretty much exactly the same as almost all the previous versions and was updated about 12 hours ago (so updated 3rd August 2018).

    Hmm, I wish i was paid! :)

    Sorry to have posted my reply before experimenting it. Appears that Do Not Disturb will still sync emails in the background. Just that you wont be notified. This isnt what I expected either. It keeps bumping up the badge count when it is snoozed, which is quite annoying too.
